Norton Grange Marsh Local Nature Reserve

Norton Grange Marsh LNR measures 3 hectares and comprises a wetland area with a beck that runs through the centre of the site, a wildflower meadow, scrub and long grassland. The marsh area is utilised by many birds and harbours locally rare plants including Hybrid Fescue and False Fox sedge.

Norton Grange is situated adjacent to a stretch of the old North Eastern Railway Branch Line approximately 2 miles from Stockton town centre. The area is situated in the Norton Grange ward within Stockton-on-Tees.
